Kenya covers an area the size of France. Additionally it straddles the Equator thus enjoying beautiful climate all year round with warm sunny days and cool nights. Altitudes range from sea level to the peak of Mt Kenya at 5199m, the second highest mountain in Africa.
Kenya has some of the best National Parks and Game Reserves in Africa that host incredible diversity of wildlife. Also over 40 different tribes live side by side, each with its own culture producing a kaleidoscope of tradition and folklore.
Tanzania
Tanzania is a land of superlatives, having a share in the largest and deepest lakes in Africa. In the North lies Lake Victoria, the source of River Nile and Africa's largest lake. To the west is Lake Tanganyika, the world's second deepest lake.
Within its borders also lie the highest mountain of Africa - Mt Kilimanjaro at 5,896m and the largest game reserve - the Serengeti. Its coastal towns and offshore islands like Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia conjure up an exotic tapestry that is rich in color and culture.
The northern parks include Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire. In the West are Gombe Stream, Mahale Mountains, Rubondo Island and Katavi and in the south are Ruaha and Mikumi National Parks.
