7 Days Wonders of Kenya

DAY 1: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
You will be picked up by your driver and head north. Pass near Thika and continue north through some breathtaking scenery dotted with rushing mountain streams and fields of tea and coffee. After Nanyuki town, you'll continue north, eventually reaching a dusty outpost known as Isiolo, the last major stop on the journey into the remote northern frontier district.

Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge followed by an afternoon game viewing drive. Return later as the sun sets to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Enjoy morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the park with all meals at your lodge.

DAY 3: LAKE NAIVASHA
After breakfast at your tented camp, enjoy game drive en-route as you depart for Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is one of the gems in a necklace of Rift Valley lakes, has a variety of bird life and hippo colonies. Enjoy lunch at your lodge. Afternoon will be spent at leisure or take an optional boat ride by the lake.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Breakfast at the lodge and depart for the famous Maasai Mara crossing the Loita plains, see red clad Maasai warriors tend their multi-colored herds amongst plains game. Arrive Mara in time for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive inside Kenya's most scenic Park where you are almost guaranteed of confronting all the "Big Five".

DAY 5: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Breakfast at lodge and leave with picnic lunches for a full day game drive inside the Park.

Game viewing is excellent year round. Game includes: elephant, Black Rhino, buffalo, plains zebra, roan antelope in small numbers, white-bearded gnu, Oribi, warthog, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, hartebeest and the big cats; the rivers are home to hippo and crocodiles. Maasai Mara has the largest population of lion.

Optional activities abound while you’re in the Maasai Mara.  You can try a balloon safari for an exhilarating experience over the savannah as the early sun rises and the animals are more active. If you wish, for a nominal fee, you can also visit a Maasai Village to experience this nomadic tribe’s way of life and see their colorful culture.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE
After breakfast embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival you will be dropped off at the your selected hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
