KENYA SAFARIS
Kenya
covers an area the size of France. Additionally it straddles the
Equator thus enjoying beautiful climate all year round with warm sunny
days and cool nights. Altitudes range from sea level to the peak of Mt
Kenya at 5199m, the second highest mountain in Africa.
Kenya has
some of the best National Parks and Game Reserves in Africa that host
incredible diversity of wildlife. Also over 40 different tribes live
side by side, each with its own culture producing a kaleidoscope of
tradition and folklore.
TANZANIA SAFARIS
Tanzania
is a land of superlatives, having a share in the largest and deepest
lakes in Africa. In the North lies Lake Victoria, the source of River
Nile and Africa's largest lake. To the west is Lake Tanganyika, the
world's second deepest lake.
Within its borders also lie the
highest mountain of Africa - Mt Kilimanjaro at 5,896m and the largest
game reserve - the Serengeti. Its coastal towns and offshore islands
like Zanzibar, Pemba and Mafia conjure up an exotic tapestry that is
rich in color and culture.
The northern parks include Serengeti,
Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire. In the West are Gombe
Stream, Mahale Mountains, Rubondo Island and Katavi and in the south are
Ruaha and Mikumi National Parks.
